I will admit, this is going to take some getting used to. When we were in class last Friday, and I began explaining to you the school closure, some of you were very quiet, some of you were very happy, and some of you really did not know what to think. Although on the surface, it seems like we all just have time off, in reality, this could not be farther from the case. I am working at home on this website to keep you all up to date and to give you resources and activities that will continue your learning. Those of you that have access to devices are very fortunate. Those who share or may not be able to access technology the way we do in school may struggle a bit. While we are away from one another, I want you to engage in learning in the best way possible, and know that learning and being informed is essential, if not vital to the way you live your lives. As we said on Friday, the situation is fluid, and is constantly changing. Through this uncertainty, I am going back to my personal mantra that a friend told me years ago: Reflect, Adjust, and Move On. We need to think about the situation that we are in and understand what is happening, make adjustments to our thinking that may disappoint us or displease us, and ultimately move on in order to live healthier and more productive lives. Please comment on what your thoughts or feelings are as we move forward in our current situation.
